Chico, CA – (September 10-12, 2009) – Clovis, CA transplant, Peter Murphy made the tow to Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, CA for the 56th Annual Gold Cup Race of Champions. Murphy turned in a strong Thursday preliminary showing by finishing sixth is the star-studded event and proceeded to lock himself into Saturday's 40 lap A main event.

Tarlton Sprint Cars Win Winged and Non-Winged Races over Weekend By Gary Costa Watsonville, CA – Santa Maria, CA (August 14-15, 2009) – Tarlton Motorsports shined this weekend with Tommy Tarlton winning his fifth main event of the season in a thrilling GLR Investments 360 Winged Sprint Car race, which was his third win in the series in 2009. Peter Murphy captured his sixth win of the season at Santa Maria Speedway in West Coast 360 Non-Winged action. Murphy’s win in Santa Maria also was his 50th American Sprint Car win.“It was a great weekend for us.
